All 5 games due to ‘bad autumn rain’ are canceled… Jamsil, Daejeon, Daegu, Gwangju → Scheduled at a later date, Suwon → Scheduled on the 2nd of next month

This season’s KBO League schedule is going crazy until the end. The end of the regular season was further postponed due to the harsh fall rain.

KBO announced on the 20th that the 14th game between the Doosan Bears and NC Dinos of the 2023 Shinhan Bank SOL KBO League, scheduled to be held at Jamsil Stadium in Seoul, was canceled due to rain. Canceled games are scheduled to be scheduled later after the remaining game schedule is completed as there is no reserve date scheduled.

On this day, it rained heavily in Seoul from the morning. At Jamsil Stadium, a tarpaulin was installed on the infield to prepare for rain, but the rain continued without stopping, and game supervisor Han Yong-deok decided to cancel the game at around 4:10 p.m.

Doosan and NC, which have many games remaining, are not happy with the cancellation due to rain. Doosan has 21 games remaining and NC has 23 games remaining. NC has the second most games remaining after KIA (24 games), and Doosan has the third most games remaining along with Lotte (21 games).

The situation with other teams is also not good. The match between KT Wiz and LG Twins, scheduled to be held at Suwon KT Wiz Park at 6:30 p.m., was also postponed. The 14th game of the season between the two teams will be held on the 2nd of next month. KT prepared for rainy weather by covering the infield with a tarpaulin early, but large puddles of water formed in other areas.

The rain forecast continued, making it impossible to proceed that day. KT will have to play a deadly 9-game series from October 1st to 8th due to rain cancellation on this day. The KIA game on the 4th is a double header, and the Samsung game, which was canceled on August 30, was scheduled for October 6.

The KBO announced that following Jamsil and Suwon, the match between Daejeon Lotte Giants and Hanwha Eagles, Daegu SSG Landers match against Samsung Lions, and Gwangju Kiwoom Heroes match against KIA Tigers were canceled due to rain. The final match of the season between SSG and Samsung will be scheduled at a later date as there is no reserve date.스포츠토토

The Jamsil, Daejeon, Daegu, and Gwangju games will be scheduled later, and only the Suwon game will be held on the reserve day on the 2nd of next month.
