According to Saudi media outlet Al Asharq Al Wasat, the Saudi Arabian Football Federation (SAFF) is considering hiring veteran English Premier League referee Michael Oliver and Polish referee Szymon Marciniak, who officiated the Argentina-France match at the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.
Oliver is no stranger to Korean soccer fans. He has been a Premier League referee since 2010, was promoted to FIFA International Referee in 2012, and has been a UEFA Elite Referee since 2018.
