‘Ahn Jung-hwan, Choi Jin-cheol vs. Maldini, Totti’ meet for the first time in 21 years… ‘Legend Match’ joint press conference

The two sides, who had a difficult time in 2002, reunite after 21 years.

Racing City Group Korea announced on the 20th that Paolo Maldini and Francesco Totti (Italy) will hold a press conference with Ahn Jung-hwan and Choi Jin-cheol at Fairmont Ambassador Seoul at 10:30 a.m. on the 22nd. Maldini and Totti will visit Korea on the 21st to promote the Legend All-Star Game.

Racing City Group will host the Legend All-Star Game at Goyang Sports Complex on October 21, with legends from Korea, Italy, and Brazil attending. Last month, Ronaldinho (Brazil), Fabio Cannavaro, and Marco Materazzi (Italy) visited Korea for promotional purposes. Earlier this month, Giulio Cesar (Brazil), Gianluca Zambrotta, and Massimo Oddo (Italy) visited Korea.

Maldini, born in 1968, is a legend representing Italian soccer. Following in the footsteps of his father, Cesare Maldini, he joined the AC Milan youth team and debuted in the Milan first team in the 1984–85 season. Since then, he has continued to play for Milan for 25 seasons, winning the Serie A seven times, the UEFA Champions League (UCL) five times, and the FIFA Club World Cup once.

He has played in four World Cups as a member of the Italian national team. His A match career record is 7 goals in 126 games.

Totti, who was called the ‘Prince and Emperor of Rome’, is a legend representing AS Roma. He only wore one jersey from Roma’s youth team. He was the Serie A winner once, the Coppa Italia twice, the league’s top scorer once and Player of the Year twice.

For the Italian national team, he scored 9 goals in 58 international matches. He lifted the trophy at the 2006 FIFA World Cup in Germany.

Both players have ties to Korea. They faced each other in the round of 16 of the 2002 FIFA Korea-Japan World Cup. Maldini was captain at the time. Totti was also sent off for Hollywood action. Ahn Jung-hwan and Choi Jin-cheol, who led Korea to victory, will be reunited after 21 years.

Racing City Group said, “Maldini and Totti will stay in Korea for 3 days and 2 nights. During this period, they will carry out various schedules such as promoting the Legend All-Star Game, fan meetings, and filming entertainment programs.”

Meanwhile, Racing City Group also unveiled the uniforms that players from each country will wear in the Legend All-Star Game. It was produced through collaboration between Racing City Group’s own brand, ‘Kickoff’, and lifestyle brand, ‘Goal Studio’.소닉카지노
