In the bottom of the inning, Jung Jun-jae, who reached on an error, stole second and third before coming home on a wild pitch.

From there, the Korean bats piled on the runs with walks and hits, scoring 11 runs in the bottom of the third inning on 15 hits to effectively decide the game.

Na Seung-yeop, batting in the No. 5 spot, reached base in every at-bat and collected four RBIs, while Kim Sung-woo and Yoo Tae-woong joined him with multi-hit games, collecting three and two RBIs, respectively.

On the mound, starter Ryu Hyun-gon tossed two scoreless innings, while Lee Byung-heon, Kim Dong-hyuk, and Jung Hyun-soo closed out the game with one inning each.
